Single dad. Just me and the custody of my 3 kiddos since 2009. My older 2 are on their own now and I have just my 14 year old daughter and 2 cats with me now. Born in San Jose, lived in England when I was a wee-lad, grew up mostly in Annapolis MD. Atlanta, Georgia for a mission then moved to Idaho in 1996 to be closer to extended family in the mountain west. Been an Idahoan since. I work in IT, in network operations. I prefer a quiet and simple and low key. My son is transgender. If that’s a dealbreaker for you, so be it. But take it elsewhere. There is no room for hate, fear, judgement or bigotry in my life. Not in MY dojo. I spent 35 years as a good Mormon. I have a lot of appreciation for that, and my upbringing. Mormons are my culture. But when my eternal companion walked out on her kids and her husband, my feelings got complicated. Then with a transgender son, doubly so. I appreciate all the church has given my life, but I have not been active in most of a decade.

Reading, writing, philosophy, history, academia. But I also love Star Wars, LEGO, anime, superheroes, SpongeBob and comics. I like walks. I used to ride bikes a lot but have not in recent years. I’d love to get back into that and be more healthy again.
