"I like to have fun with my fRiENdS."
What a shock! You too?! we have so much in common!
Another good intro: "I cant portray my
character in 250 words or less" -- so I wont
at all. J/K Here goes...
"Somebody" by Depeche Mode describes a
closer bond of two people sharing their joys AND
sorrows together. I seek someone whose loyalty is
not just dependent on the money and good times.
Trouble comes -- accidents, arguments, painful
sacrifice for nobler pursuits -- Im looking for
someone to be my partner in all of these. Life is
a complex journey NOT centered around clubbing,
vacationing, and shopping.
I went to Caltech for engineering, and night
school for an MBA and an ego. ;) I've met too many
diverse, smart, interesting people to have much of
an ego; I am more self-effacing. I am dressy and
presentable when I need to be, but not an all-out
type of guy. I buy flowers often for no other
reason than they smell good and to indicate that I
love you. They should not be reserved for
birthdays and Valentine's day.
I try to be more non-materialist; family and God
mean more to me. I do splurge on quality stuff
when it matters and buy cheap crap when it doesnt
matter.
For my part, I listen well, assuming that you
communicate. Perhaps some men are better
mind-readers than others; I am proud of my policy
of not divining what others are thinking; please
do not expect this of me; just say it nicely.
The Ho Chi Min on my chin is gone now.
Yes; I'm divorced, but not by choice. I kept my
covenants, but unfortunately even temple divorce
is a unilateral action. Despite this, temple
marriage 'should be' an eternal partnership to
build and strengthen with love and care, through
the good times and bad.

I have weened myself off most of the artificial
foods we have in American society; Im not a wild
cook, but I only shop at Trader Joes for
all-natural, healthy foods. So, if you cant do
without your Cheetos...
I dont drink soda; chips and fries arent worth the
calories to me -- so I never eat them, but love
ice cream and cookies.
